Overview
Muffett Gears supplies precision engineered gearing to a wide variety of worldwide industries. Established in 1920 the company has grown and developed is offerings to include gear cutting, bevel gears, bevel gearboxes, spur gears, moulded gears, EDM, splined shafts, racks, worm gearboxes, worms and wormwheels, assembly, milling, turning and grinding.
Aims
Adams were tasked with redesigning the Muffett Gears website so that it reflected their positioning as one of the UK’s leading component manufacturers. Muffett Gears wanted to show the diversity of their manufacturing capability, from crafting specialist components to the mass production of gears and assemblies for a range of major industries. It was also important to communicate their exacting quality standards of precision engineering, something that sets them apart from their competitors.
What we did
The art direction of the site needed to reflect the industries and end products that Muffett Gear products and assemblies are used in. To visualise this the agency sourced a range of large, impactful photography of the various types of machinery Muffett Gear clients use. The agency also executed a photoshoot onsite to capture the extensive testing procedures carried out to ensure the highest quality standards were met. This imagery was used across the site to reinforce the message of extreme quality standards.
